Ashley Wanninger - Colerain High School

Ashley has been a member of her student government during this past year. She also participates on the girls Colerain Basketball team as the captain during the first semester and also has been playing with Cincinnati’s Finest AAU as well. She is an active member in two clubs sponsored by Colerain High School: the Key Club and Peer Mediation.

Ashley has been very giving with her time as well from volunteering at local basketball camps, holiday camp and with the Special Olympics. She also finds time to work the Colerain High School concession stands when she is not in season with her one sport. And you may even see Ashley around Mercy Hospital / Mt Airy location volunteering as well.

Due to all the hard work that Ashley does in the class room it has carried outside the classroom as she has been noticed considerably for her athletic abilities and she has been the recipient of a variety of awards and achievements during the last few years: Ohio High School Athletic Association Archie Griffin Sportsmanship Award, All Academic Greater Miami Conference, First Team All GMC for three straight years, District 16 All Star – first and second teams, All Southwest Ohio District, All Ohio Honorable Mention, Colerain’s “Whatever It Takes” award, ESPN.com Rise All-Area Greater Cincinnati – second team, Colerain Lady Cardinals MVP and Colerain Cardinal Award.
